Miss Teen Rodeo Minnesota 2025

Ella Smith

Hailing from Windom, Minnesota, Ella Smith is a 2024 graduate of Windom Area High School and a passionate advocate for agriculture, youth involvement, and the western lifestyle. As a student, she served as FFA President, leading her chapter with dedication and vision. Ella has long been committed to creating opportunities for others in agriculture — a passion that led her to found and operate the Star-Spangled Banner Livestock Expo, a nonprofit event celebrating youth in livestock. After a highly successful first year, she is now preparing for the second annual show, where she hopes to continue inspiring and connecting young people through livestock and leadership.

While she’s recently become more involved in rodeo and horsemanship, Ella’s true arena foundation was built through eight years of showing sheep and horses in 4-H and open shows. Her efforts have earned her state-level recognition, including Fourth Overall Market Lamb at the 2024 Minnesota State Fair, as well as Third in Western Pleasure and Fourth in English Pleasure. Whether she’s in the show ring or the saddle, Ella brings grit, grace, and a deep respect for the animals and people who shape the western way of life.

Outside of the arena, Ella is known for her leadership, entrepreneurial spirit, and heart for service. She has always believed in making a difference, whether by supporting her community on a large scale or simply offering encouragement to one person at a time. Her dream is to continue growing as a leader and role model while giving back to the agriculture and rodeo industries that have given her so much.

Representing Minnesota as a Miss Teen contestant is not just an honor for Ella — it’s a way to amplify the values she holds dear, promote youth involvement in agriculture, and celebrate the lifestyle that shaped her into the person she is today. With humility, passion, and purpose, she is proud to stand as an ambassador for the next generation of western youth.

Hanley Falls, Minnesota is where Emma Jacobson, Jr. Miss Rodeo Minnesota resides with parents Nicole & Brandon. Emma has three older brothers Dakota, Colton, and Bolden. Growing up in a small town, Emma enjoyed having fun with her brothers, playing in the mud, and riding bikes around town. Although Emma did not grow up with horses she seized an opportunity in taking lessons, and volunteering at a local boarding facility.

Eventually her first horse Diesel came into her life and she became involved in fun shows, saddle clubs, trail rides, jackpots, and 4-H. Emma enjoys jackpots the most and has excelled in that over the past years. Her own training horses give her the chance to expand her knowledge and horsemanship. She is grateful for the opportunities that have come her way and plans to continue to assist in providing those same opportunities to others.

Emma is looking forward to representing Minnesota as Jr Miss Rodeo and is excited to learn more about the rodeo lifestyle and sharing the western way of life.
